Tom is Back in Blue Bloods

Did you hear that Tom Selleck is returning to TV? I am such a fan. I fell in love with Tom during his Magnum P.I. days. That was my favorite show for years and I even watched many times in syndication. I also saw Tom play a sheriff in the recent series of Jesse Stone movies. Soon I can see him every week on CBS in the new fall drama called "Blue Bloods." He is playing the role of the New York City police chief named Frank. Apparently, his character's father was a previous police chief plus his children also work in law enforcement. So there will be a blend of family dynamics and police drama. I wonder if the drama will be more emotional or violent or a combination. Either way, this sounds like a perfect fit for Tom. He makes a good and believable cop. He is tough yet personable. He is handsome and rugged. He is a dream guy. I like watching him in powerful roles where he has difficult choices to make. Tom is such a good actor. I will most definitely be watching "Blue Bloods" on my directv on Friday, September 24. I can't wait!

NFL CHAMPIONSHIPS………YAWN

Well the first game between the Colts and Jets ended up like I thought. I also thought that the Saints would beat the Vikings. What I didn’t know was it would take a bonehead play by Brett Farve to do it.
What did he think he was doing when they had the game in reach with seconds to go and he runs to his right and throws a pass across his body? Yes an interception, he probably won’t sleep for months thinking how he screwed up his chance to go to the Super Bowl.
Actually the Vikings gave it all they had. They were just stupid to win, mistakes which led to turnovers. You can’t give the ball up in games and expect to win. Then the final seconds when they were within reach of a field goal, they get a penalty for having 12 players in the huddle. What the hell was going on out there? It got worse from there when Farve threw the interception. Geez, all the hard work for the year, gone down the drain, and into the sewer, because of stupid mistakes.
They came in second place in the National Conference Championship. I was always told if you come in second that means you’re the first loser. In this game Farve was the big loser, and everything he did during the year, means nothing

Singing and playing at the same time

Playing the piano, and singing at the same time can take a little bit of work. To play accompaniment piano is quite different, than just playing the piano solo. It changes everything once you have someone singing with you.

You need to get comfortable with the person that you are playing accompaniment piano for. You need know what the person wants, and what they feel good with. It’s all about technique with the chords you use.

Changing chords when you play accompaniment piano, will make the difference in the sound of the music that is made. Different chords will change the music. It’s a way to complement the person who is singing.

Once you get started and began to accompany on the piano, you will notice that it’s not just playing. Different chord techniques, allows you to give your singer, or yourself a variety within the same song.

Healthy, is as healthy does

Ever wonder why the French drink so much wine. Well it’s a poplar drink, its romantic, and it gets you intoxicated. But the grapes that are in the wine is the key ingredient, its almost like taking a supplement called Resveratrol.

Yes leave it to the French to have the best cuisine in the world, with the highest cholesterol in it, and still have a good statistic for low heart disease. Theory has it that it’s the grapes. The same thing only in a different form, that is in Resveratrol Supplements.

You can have the same healthy life with less chance of heart disease, except you don’t have to drink wine everyday. Just take a supplement that has all the antioxidants you need to give you a healthy liver, heart, and your blood vessels. Exercise always helps, but a good dose of the right supplement will only enhance your chances for a healthy life. Remember, healthy is, as healthy does.

Tired and sleepy…..

Just did a 17 hour shift, and I am really tired, thought I would send out a blog to let every one know that I will be 22 soon. No big plans for anything just kick it at home and act like it’s another day. It’s good and bad to have a birthday so close to Christmas, you know.
Kind of looking forward to the New Year. Me and some of my friends are going to Las Vegas. We are talking about January. I have some deals that would give us the airfare, plus 3 nights at the MGM. One of our friends says she might not be able to afford the trip.
I told her she can stay with one of us in the room, and she wouldn’t need that much money to spend there. I really want her to go; she is cool to hang out with. Anyway, need to get some rest so I can get back up and go to work again.

It’s not just advertising on the net

Well over half of America and the civilized world work, buy, and sell, from the internet. So who’s buying, selling and working from the internet? Everyone that feels competitive, and has that drive to meet the challenge of big money.
It’s all about one thing; don’t matter if you’re working in an office, at home or off your mobile phone somewhere. Advertisement is a must and it has to be superior to anyone else, it helps if you have a good product or service. Insuring that you’re advertising is accurately listed on the internet or mobile is most important.
A search engine should take you directly to the service or product you’re looking for. If it doesn’t, it wasted your time. Someone out there that paid to have there product or service advertised online also wasted their money. They paid for their advertisement and it didn’t target the correct customer. So it’s not just advertising on the net, it’s how you do it. It must be done accurately, and geared towards the right customer!

Hey what’s up with the Broncos?

It is finally happening, the dink and dunk passes, are not going to work. The first 6 games teams didn’t know what to expect with the Broncos. A new coach, several free agents, a new defensive coordinator. But it caught up with them. First a blow out in Baltimore, then a beat down at home on Monday night by Pittsburgh, and then San Diego comes in here and just opens a can of whop ass on them.

It going to get worse, they have the New York football Giants tomorrow on Thanksgiving. I would think the running game for the Giants will be enough offense to cruise them to an easy win. The Broncos offense is just terrible and is not going to get well any time soon. In fact, start looking at the off season, for some trades and the draft. We really need a quarterback.

Orton at quarterback is not the answer; his longest completion is 27 yards this year. Has anyone seen the backup? His name is Chris Simms, oh brother…….. I watched him play at Texas, enough said. Anyway, it going to get a lot worse.
